You’ve Flipped Your Lid – Create a Two-Page Layout with Border Stickers

Border stickers are one of my favorite embellishments!  A wide assortment of border stickers is available and they can be used in so many ways.  You can quickly assemble this layout or adapt it to another theme by simply changing the border stickers.

What creative ways have you found to use stickers?

Indian Rocks – Ribbon Stitched Page with Library Pocket

Earlier this year, I showed how to use the Sew Ribbon Tool by We R Memory Keepers.  It is such a fun tool to use!  Today’s scrapbook page uses that tool again but in a different design, the Weave.  Two rows were stitched, offsetting the second row to prevent the stitches from lining up with each other.  The library pocket filled with journaling is embellished with a simple sand dollar.

What are your favorite tools for creating pages?

Senior Prom – Dazzling Prom Scrapbooking Layout

Die cutting machines can save you lots of money on embellishments and help you create layouts in no time.  The layered title, Senior Prom, was made with the Cricut die cutting machine.  To complete the title strip, a flower was added with a brad.

What tips do you have for using die cutting machines?

Central Park Fountain – Peaceful and Simple Scrapbook Page

One of the easiest ways to highlight a photo is to give it a full-page.  This fountain was so peaceful and majestic; the photo doesn’t do it justice.  To increase the elegance without overpowering the photo, I added the rub-ons, white lace, and paper flowers.

How do you add elegance to page?

Boys Only – Energetic Summer Scrapbooking Layout

My two boys, Luke and Zach, love spending time with their younger cousin, Carson.  When they get together, they play non-stop, jumping from one activity to the next.  This simple layout is colorful and lively, which mirrors the energy of the boys.  I used paint in several areas of this layout:  below the photos, as a background for the title, and created a space for the date.  Once the paint dried, I added stickers.  Instead of stickers, I could have written on the paint with an archival-safe marker or applied rub-ons.

Post a photo of one of your “boys only” scrapbook pages.
